If you wanna talk about underbuzzed shows, let's add to your list NCIS: a solid series of rhythm and wit, thanks in large part to dependable, charismatic lead Mark Harmon, as naval agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs. And even though the once-lauded Malcolm in the Middle has lost its cachet, It's particularly ripe again this season, especially when featuring Jane Kaczmarek's Intense, acerbic mother of a mother, Lois.
