Q
Sure, those randy passengers on HBO's Taxicab Confessions (which
premiered Feb. 5) sign releases before they stagger into the night. But
how is that legal if, let's face it, most of these folks are wasted?
A
According to codirector Harry Gantz, passengers are given 48 hours after
signing the release to soberly reflect on the decision and rescind
permission. And who'd give up a shot at taxicab infamy? Among others,
people ''who say something about their mothers [seeing it], that decide
they don't want to be on the show.'' Ah, Mom. The guilt that keeps on
giving.
