Get ready to play a videogame where you have to remember whether you fired six bullets or only five. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Clint Eastwood is teaming up with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to create a series of games based on his Dirty Harry character. The Million Dollar Baby Oscar nominee will lend his voice and likeness to the games as well as his ideas for their design and play.
Magnum-wielding cop Harry Callahan hasn't been heard from since 1988's The Dead Pool, but the 74-year-old told the Reporter that this is a way for him to keep the character alive. ''This will be an opportunity to satisfy the many requests over the years to continue the Dirty Harry legacy, only now in the video game medium,'' Eastwood said. ''Creating Dirty Harry video games will also introduce this memorable film character to new generations on a medium they appreciate.''
There's no date for the games' release, but they're expected to be available in time for the next generation of PlayStation and Xbox consoles. That is, if gamers are lucky. So, do you feel lucky, punks?
