LEGACY

Immortalized as a Goody Two-shoes in the lyrics of Grease, Sandra Dee, 63, who died Feb. 20 of complications from kidney disease, personified squeaky-clean adolescence in films like 1959's Gidget. The teen bride of crooner Bobby Darin, she dropped out of the public eye after their 1967 divorce. In a statement, Kevin Spacey, who sought Dee's approval for his 2004 Darin biopic, Beyond the Sea, said, ''I will forever be grateful to her spirit and guidance.''
