Mouthy U.K. groovers Kasabian know how to talk the talk they're named after Charles Manson's getaway driver and are prone to pronouncements such as ''We're a wake-up call to British music'' but can they walk the walk? Despite generating plenty of rhythm and noise, they lean heavily on the Stone Roses (dazed psychedelic pop) and Primal Scream (sinewy dance-rock) without leaving deep sneaker-prints of their own on the Britpop landscape. Kasabian need an aptitude for more than just attitude.
