Mouthy U.K. groovers Kasabian know how to talk the talk — they're named after Charles Manson's getaway driver and are prone to pronouncements such as ''We're a wake-up call to British music'' — but can they walk the walk? Despite generating plenty of rhythm and noise, they lean heavily on the Stone Roses (dazed psychedelic pop) and Primal Scream (sinewy dance-rock) without leaving deep sneaker-prints of their own on the Britpop landscape. Kasabian need an aptitude for more than just attitude.
