If the band once hyped as the Next Big Swedish Thing is indeed the soundtrack of our lives, well, our lives aren't very exciting. Granted, Origin Vol. 1's opening track ''Believe I've Found'' rides a nice psych-country groove, and the multiculti folk of ''Midnight Children'' is pleasingly off-center. But in an era when NBSTs are suddenly everywhere, it will take more than Soundtrack's beige retro anthems to break through the static.
