What do you like most about John?
He seems to be the only genuinely good-intentioned character, a good guy who keeps finding himself in precarious situations. Plus you get to run around shirtless a lot.
Were your five years on the NBC soap Passions good practice?
I don't know if taking your shirt off is really something that you practice.
When did you first realize how big this show had become?
When I was on Oprah. Every woman in the audience was screaming their lungs out.
Who's your favorite Housewife?
Bree. She's borderline obsessive-compulsive and neurotic, and she thinks that she's totally normal. And some things in upcoming episodes pique my interest even more. She has a very strong, bizarre reaction to her son possibly being gay.
Wow, you didn't say Gabrielle. Is that because she's kinda trampy?
I do see it that way! [Laughs]
