Hailing from America's biggest university town, it's fitting that this Boston trio's debut has an earnest collegiate vibe from clunky but heartfelt agitprop (''Memorial Day''), to poetic romance (''Love Letters''), to Afrocentric empowerment (''Black Dialogue''). Beyond the liberal-arts requirements, there's a bone-shaking kegger jam, ''Party Hard,'' perhaps the only hip-hop song with an antismoking message.
