You read about this one in EW's first look 2000 issue early last year. Then New Line bumped this comic drama -- about four sons (Diesel, Pepper, Seth Green, and Andrew Davoli) who decide to follow in the footsteps of their mobster fathers (Malkovich and Hopper) -- to January 2001, and now to April. ''We're a little impatient,'' says Levien, who wrote and directed with his ''Rounders'' partner Koppelman. ''But it's fine, because the date keeps getting better.''

The cast, meanwhile, is just relieved to be out of the Canadian town of Drumheller, which doubled as Montana for the production. ''It's an archaeologists' mecca, the highest concentration of findings anywhere in the world,'' says Diesel, who stayed with the rest of the crew at the Jurassic Inn. ''It's very, very weird: You're riding along and there's a giant papier mâché T. rex that's missing teeth.'' Cracks Koppelman: ''No, that was the waitress at the place across the street.''
