Nobody pulls off killer couture better than, well, killers. Infusing graphic novelist Frank Miller's noirish creations with old-school Versace, Sin City costume designer Nina Proctor modified kimonos for Devon Aoki and (un)dressed Rosario Dawson's bloodthirsty Valkyrie in strappy leather. Her biggest challenge? ''Making [the costumes] easy to wear and fight in.'' Designer Shirley Chan went traditional, dressing Kung Fu Hustle's '30s-era Axe Gang in tuxes and top hats. ''We wanted a look that was visually striking, very unique.'' And worth dying for.
