Kevin Federline wants you to know he's not just a trophy husband. In fact, the backup dancer who married the boss is about to record his first album, with the help of top producers recruited by the missus herself. And because an unvideotaped life is not worth living, Federline hopes to promote the album's creation and promotional campaign Ashlee Simpson-style, documenting the recording and marketing processes in a reality series that he's pitched to E!, People.com reports. That would make two separate reality series for K. Fed. Who says he's a layabout?

The other reality series, just announced Tuesday, is the six-part compilation of Federline and Britney Spears' self-produced videos of their 2004 courtship and wedding. That will air on UPN beginning in May. No word yet on whether E! will pick up Federline's proposed solo reality series.

Having his own reality show, sans Britney, could fuel the tabloid rumors that the couple's six-months-and-counting marriage is already on the rocks. In fact, as People reports, while Federline was pitching the show at E!'s offices, Britney was holed up in a Santa Monica hotel, along with her parents and siblings and three girlfriends. But People reports that Federline eventually joined her back at the Fairmont Miramar, where they smooched on the patio. (So there, paparazzi.) ''They are sweet on each other,'' a source close to the couple tells People. In other words, they're not going to pull a Brad and Jen or Charlie and Denise just yet.
