There's something to be said for a band that can walk the line between rock and a soft place. Coldplay have certainly mastered it; Keane and Travis know it well. Sweden's the Perishers don't stray far from the path they've got the wistful, literate lyrics, the whisking percussion and lilting melodies but Let There Be Morning is a lovely twilight trip all the same. Vocalist-guitarist Ola Klüft defiantly trades in strength for subtlety; occasionally, his hazy compositions simply melt away. On tracks like album opener ''Weekend'' and first single ''Sway,'' though, he gives exactly enough.
