Jim Belushi, star of ABC's According to Jim Since Nightline was such a breakthrough, ABC should create another breakthrough called Investigate Reporters. There is no show that holds reporters accountable. The first 10 minutes would be dedicated to retractions, the next 15 minutes to all the lives ruined by the mistakes of journalists, and the last five minutes would focus on critics and what movies and TV shows they panned. . .that become hits.
NIGHT OF THE TALKING HEADS
Is ABC making as much cash as possible in late-night? Not really. Koppel lags The Tonight Show by 36 percent and his average viewer is 51.8, two years older than Letterman's and Leno's. But don't forget, ABC: Money isn't everything.
