The Single
The Chevy Nova of trailers. Between 33 and 40 feet long,
it has all the essentials (sitting area, bedroom, kitchenette) but not many bells and whistles. Movie stars avoid them, but TV leads like Kiefer Sutherland (24) and Patricia Arquette (Medium) somehow manage to make do. Estimated rental: $1,000–1,200 per week.
The Two- and Three-Door ''Bangers''
Named for the noise their spring-action screen doors make when slamming shut, these 40-footers are shared by two or three different actors depending on the configuration each getting their own dressing room. Mostly for second-tier actors or special guest stars. Estimated rental: $1,000 per week.
The Honeywagon
The slums of on-set trailer living, with up to 10 separate and tiny dressing rooms squeezed into a 65-foot shell. No amenities at all, not even your own bathroom. Strictly for day players and other actors whose names nobody knows. Estimated rental: $1,000–1,700 per week.
