Herbie: Fully Loaded

(June 24)

PREMISE In her third remake of an old Disney movie, Lindsay Lohan (top) plays Maggie, scion of a car-racing family stuck in the pits. That is, until she restores and starts driving Herbie, the magical VW Beetle with a mind of its own. Even glum Dad (Michael Keaton) gets Beetle-juiced — though he should really worry about scenery-chomping villain Matt Dillon (bottom) as a rival racing mogul.

SLOGAN ''He's stronger! He's faster! He's Herbie-er!''

TRAILER HIGHLIGHTS Herbie winks amorously at a cute yellow Beetle, setting up Lohan's jailbait joke: Wearing a cleavage-baring racing jumpsuit that justifies the movie's subtitle, she tells Herbie, ''She's too young for you.'' When Dillon tries to peek under Herbie's hood, the car bugs out and goes all Christine on him, but no one believes poor Matt when he says, ''That car's alive! It's mocking me!''

PERCENTAGE OF PLOT SPOILED 85 percent

VERDICT Kids, especially those looking for girl-power role models, and diehard Keaton fans wondering where the defrocked Batman has been for the past few years will eat this movie up. The rest of us will be home watching NASCAR. Trailer grade: C+
