Everyone knows who's in Coldplay: Chris Martin and...three other dudes. Here's a quick look at the rest of the band.

JONNY BUCKLAND

Instrument: Guitar

Distinguishing Characteristic: His constant nervous smile.

Fun Fact: Studied astronomy in school. Perhaps he should inform Martin that ''planets...moving at the speed of light'' are actually pretty unlikely.

Quote: On being adored, then despised, and now adored once again in England: ''I think it's our very hateableness that makes us lovable.''

GUY BERRYMAN

Instrument: Bass

Distinguishing Characteristic: His moptop.

Fun Fact: As a funk lover, he's responsible for Coldplay's (not considerable) James Brown influence.

Quote: He ''used to be a bit jealous'' of the attention given Martin, ''but after seeing what happened, I was very thankful. We went out for a walk one day, just the four of us and a pushchair [baby stroller], and that was a money shot for all the newspapers.''

WILL CHAMPION

Instrument: Drums

Distinguishing Characteristic: His buzz cut.

Fun Fact: Champion knew how to play bass, piano, and guitar when he joined Coldplay. So naturally he was drafted to play...drums.
