On her addictive dance-pop U.S. debut, Anniemal, this Norwegian flaunts whispery Kylie cool and old-school-Madonna cheekiness (she even samples Madge's 1982 tune ''Everybody'' for her funktastic romp ''Greatest Hit''). Annie's bubblicious charms occasionally even produce an indie-cred masterstroke (''Heartbeat''). Still, this sugar rush of an album proves Mom right yet again: Candy is best consumed in moderation.
