When we left off . . . Ruth (Frances Conroy) was delighted after finally meeting the daughter of her husband, George (James Cromwell) — until he started talking to himself and camping out in the backyard fallout shelter.
Burning questions How long will Ruth continue trying to save her brief and troubled marriage? Will George seek help for his deteriorating mental condition? And why don't we get to see more of Ruth's hilarious gal pal Bettina (Kathy Bates) and sister, Sarah (Patricia Clarkson)?
Interest level 6: The Ruth-George combo has never been the most compelling (or convincing), but we're holding out hope that the show's final season will find Mama Fisher getting her groove back.
