
DAYS OF 'BREAD AND ROSES' Brody plays an activist in the City of Angels
Director Ken Loach -- acclaimed for chronicling the plight of working class Brits -- takes on the plight of working class Angelenos. Adrien Brody plays an activist who helps a pair of office cleaning sisters take on their boss. Loach has never been a moviemaker for the masses, but it's hard not to empathize with the ''take this job and shove it'' plot.
