Nicollette Sheridan in Deceptions
Good thing she's currently engaged to a guy who's not a household name. The last time Nicollette Sheridan found herself on a hit TV series — she starred on CBS' soap Knots Landing from 1986-1993 — she and her then-boyfriend, L.A. Law's Harry Hamlin, combined forces to make Deceptions, a cheesy Showtime flick that featured the duo licking each other's belly buttons. Entertainment Weekly savaged the pay-cable flick, noting its ''plot is so absurdly convoluted, its dialogue so clichéd, that it's impossible to become involved in the life of its characters.'' Sheridan and Hamlin's performances didn't rate much better: ''Hamlin's perennial sneer forms an airlock with Sheridan's constant pout.'' As Edie Britt might say, ''Naughty, naughty.''
