Brad Pitt's ''Primetime'' chat scores big for ABC -- Mr. Smith draws 11.2 million viewers, marking the network's best summer numbers at 10 p.m. in seven years

Brad Pitt may have had little to say about his are-they-or-aren't-they relationship with Angelina Jolie during Tuesday's Primetime Live chat on ABC, but plenty of folks tuned in to hear him say it. Some 11.2 million people watched the Mr. & Mrs. Smith star's interview with Diane Sawyer, according to Nielsen, marking a milestone of sorts for ABC. As the New York Post notes, that's the biggest audience the network has pulled in the 10 p.m. timeslot for a non-sports program in the summertime since 1998. Maybe Sawyer should invite Pitt to come on Primetime and evade questions about Jolie more often.
