High school ruled at the 14th annual MTV Movie Awards on June 4 in Los Angeles. Teen comedies Mean Girls and Napoleon Dynamite took six prizes between them, including Breakthrough Male and Best Musical Performance for Napoleon's self-described ''nerd magnet'' star, Jon Heder. Looking decidedly undorky in a gray T-shirt and tan Gucci blazer, Heder fit right in with the mostly dressed-down stars at the Jimmy Fallon-hosted affair. On the couture side, Best Female Performance winner Lindsay Lohan scored fashion snaps in a champagne-colored Chanel dress, while Jennifer Connelly (in blue jeans and a black Balenciaga jacket), Hilary Swank (in an off-the-rack sundress from Planet Blue in Malibu), and The Notebook's Rachel McAdams (in a Sanimi top and blue jeans) played it more relaxed. The night's most notable fashion faux pas? A wire-haired Judd Nelson, who walked the red carpet but was MIA for the show's onstage Breakfast Club cast reunion. Bender would be so proud.
