Serving as a tiara-wearing grand marshal of a West Hollywood gay pride parade, as Paris Hilton did over the weekend, doesn't seem like the gesture of someone who wants to give up the spotlight. Nonetheless, that's what the Simple Life star says she wants to do. Within two years, she tells Newsweek, she'd like to be a stay-at-home mom, wed to her new fiancé, Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis.

''I don't enjoy going out anymore,'' she tells the magazine. ''It's a pain. It's everyone saying, 'Let's do a deal! Can I have a picture?' I'm just, like, 'These people are such losers. I can't believe I used to love doing this,'''

Is the 24-year-old Hilton maturing, or was her party-girl image always an act? She claims it's the latter. ''I think maybe when I was younger, I thought it was cute to play the dumb blonde,'' she says. ''On TV, I do it because it's funny. I consider myself a businesswoman and a brand.'' How that brand will fare if its spokeswoman isn't spotted dancing on tables in nightclubs remains to be seen.
