Age 34

Mustworthiness After years of toiling in material beneath her (see Kelsey Grammer's The Sketch Show — actually, don't bother), Rajskub became the breakout star of 24's fourth and best season. She parlayed the originally thankless role of Chloe — who likes a mouthy tech geek? — into 24's most richly drawn character, and is now the only supporting cast member who's a lock for season 5.

No Gun Intended ''I wasn't really into the gun thing at first,'' says Rajskub of her now-famous action sequence in the April 25 episode. ''By the end of the day, I was like, 'Cool. I wanna shoot some more stuff up.' People think I'm cool now that I've killed someone.''

Nerd LoveEnough about violence and Muslim portrayals, let's get to the important stuff: Will Chloe and CTU analyst Edgar ever get it on? ''He's going to ask her to marry him so she doesn't have sexual tension with everybody,'' Rajskub jokes.

On Her Must List Fiona Apple. ''She recorded the When the Pawn. . . album in my basement because I was living with her producer, Jon Brion. I just kind of got used to it. 'Oh, yeah. Fiona's recording in my basement now. No big deal.''' (We like her too — see No. 83.)

Next Season 5 of 24 in January.
