Luny Tunes

The reggaeton producers are working on a track for Ricky Martin's new album

Mustworthiness If you've ever worked up a sweat to reggaeton — the decade-old Latin-reggae-rap hybrid that's finally breaking big with the gringos — odds are you know Luny Tunes' work. With credits like the smash ''Gasolina'' by Daddy Yankee, the Puerto Rico-based production duo of Francisco ''Luny'' Saldaña, 25, and Victor ''Tunes'' Cabrera, 23, is fast becoming the Caribbean's answer to hip-hop hitmakers the Neptunes.

Young MC ''I knew it was going to cross over 10 years ago, when I was going to high school in Massachusetts,'' Luny says. ''I was one of two Latin kids, the rest were white Americans. When they heard this reggaeton tape I made, they were like, 'What is that? That's hot!'''

On Their Must List 50 Cent, Eminem, and Dr. Dre.

Next A track for Ricky Martin's upcoming album featuring will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas, which has led to invitations to work with R. Kelly and Sean Paul.
