A broomstick-bound Nicole Kidman couldn't top the Caped Crusader at the box office this weekend, as Batman Begins made it two weeks in a row at No. 1.

The Batman prequel grossed another $26.8 million, according to studio estimates, a decline of 45 percent from its debut last weekend. After 12 days, the Christopher Nolan-directed film has earned a strong $121.7 million.

Second place went to Kidman and Will Ferrell's comedy Bewitched, which premiered with $20.2 million in the face of mostly poor reviews. That figure is just below the opening-weekend grosses of Kidman's last two wide releases, The Interpreter ($22.8 million) and The Stepford Wives ($21.4 million).

Mr. & Mrs. Smith placed third, slipping only 36 percent to $16.8 million, bringing its total to $125.4 million. Two other debuts rounded out the top five: Lindsay Lohan's family-friendly remake Herbie: Fully Loaded earned $12.8 million (and a total of $17.8 since its Wednesday debut), while the horror update Land of the Dead grossed $10.2 million in its first three days.
