U2: Martin Meissner/AP
Organizer Bob Geldof says Live 8 his free international music event to raise awareness of African poverty and fair-trade initiatives (airing Saturday on MTV, VH1, and other outlets) will be the best concert ever. And with such an all-star lineup (acts include U2, Coldplay, Mariah Carey, Madonna, Paul McCartney, Snoop Dogg, Shakira, Jay-Z, Stevie Wonder, a reunited Pink Floyd, and countless others), it's hard to argue. (Read our Live 8 coverage here.) Post your thoughts about the concerts: Who put on the best show? Did the event increase your knowledge of world issues? And, if you were lucky enough to attend in person, any anecdotes you'd like to share?
