THE BLESSED EVENT A host of D.C. dignitaries (John McCain, James Carville, etc.) are on the guest list for the nuptials of a daughter of the U.S. Treasury Secretary (Christopher Walken). Our titular terrors (Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson), prowling for bridesmaids, are not.

WHY IT TAKES THE CAKE The wedding itself may be a side-splitting riot (yikes: Stage-Five Clinger!), but the freaky family getaway that follows (including cutthroat touch football, a randy mama, and a charming love story to boot) is like icing on top.
