Crossing Jordan

He did a bad, bad thing. Now Dr. Macy (Miguel Ferrer) is on the outs for withholding evidence in a murder case, leaving a new boss (a surprisingly tyrannical Henry Winkler, who does double duty playing a doctor on CBS' Out of Practice) to run the lab. But with series creator Tim Kring hoping for Ferrer's cousin George Clooney to guest-star, things are looking up for the good doc. As for Woody (Jerry O'Connell) and Jordan (Jill Hennessy), they're getting new love interests for several episodes: Leslie Bibb (Popular) and Boogeyman's Charles Mesure. But fear not, this doesn't mean Kring isn't listening to you. ''The audience wants to see Jordan and Jerry's character get back together, and that's where it'll probably end up,'' Kring says. ''But we are going to see this play out first.''
