Here's the thing: We have one of the few shows where if someone's dead, they can still come back.'' In other words, series creator Glenn Gordon Caron ain't tellin' squat about whether Captain Push (guest star Arliss Howard) survives the first-season cliff-hanger to help Allison (Patricia Arquette) catch a serial killer, or if he dies and...helps her anyway. What he will say is that Allison and Joe's (Jake Weber) marriage is still fiery; Allison's de facto partner, Det. Scanlon (David Cubitt), gets more screen time; and a 3-D episode could happen. The best show idea may be the simplest: Allison has Gloria Gaynor's ''I Will Survive'' stuck in her head. ''It happens on such a cosmic level that she literally...can't hear anyone.'' For a woman who gets really long-distance calls, that might not be so bad.
