LOST (ABC) vs. CRIMINAL MINDS (CBS) vs. E-RING (NBC) vs. HEAD CASES (FOX) vs. RELATED (THE WB) vs. VERONICA MARS (UPN)
SCOOP Remarkably, once the networks realized they were all airing dramas in this slot, no one blinked; NBC, for example, would have better luck scheduling E-Ring at 8 p.m. ''That's the second boneheaded move of the season,'' says an NBC rival. ''Something tells me we won't see six dramas by November,'' adds a Big Three exec.
VERDICT Lost should find itself in first. Although it's criminal that CBS has another procedural drama, Criminal Minds is more arresting TV than E-Ring. And Fox is mental if it thinks anyone will watch Head Casesover Lost. Aside from ABC, the only good news is for Veronica Mars, which should hunt down more viewers with its America's Next Top Model lead-in.
