Bob Marley's youngest updates the family legacy (impeccable reggae arrangements, political vision) with limber rhymes and urgent dancehall beats on Welcome to Jamrock. Damien Marley also has a dazzling command of styles, apparent in his disparate duet partners (Bobby Brown, Nas, the Roots' Black Thought). The results are militant (''Confrontation''), haunting (''Road to Zion''), lovely (''There for You''), and all of the above (title track).
