Listening to Switchfoot's fifth studio album, Nothing Is Sound, it's abundantly clear that what we have here is an eminently sound as in, solid, firm, stable piece of work. Their danger-free music seems the very definition of corporate rock. We'd call 'em the modern-day corollary to Styx, but we don't want to insult the latter band.
