'DAY' AFTER DAY The guys of Bon Jovi stick to what they know
Credits
B-
Musically, the Jersey rockers stick to their meat-and-potatoes power ballad formula on Have a Nice Day. Lyrically, however, Jon Bon Jovi wants to stretch, though his only tools are clichés and bromides, resulting in such jarring juxtapositions as the pugnacious title track and two inarticulate tributes to Bob Dylan. Still, the effort is more touching than embarrassing, like watching a toddler learn to walk.
