'DESPERATE'? NOT ME Huffman takes home a statue for Best Actress in a Comedy Series

The fact that the 57th Annual Emmy Awards ended promptly after three hours was a surprise, but — luckily for viewers — not the only one of the night. Desperate housewife Felicity Huffman and Medium star Patricia Arquette were among the people shocked to find out they'd be taking home a statue for Best Actress in a Comedy Series and Drama Series, respectively. Newcomers and veteran shows were also awarded television's highest honors. Lost won Best Drama Series while Everybody Loves Raymond ended its nine-year run with statues for Best Comedy Series and Supporting Actor (Brad Garrett) and Actress (Doris Roberts).
