A-
The Mouse and the Mask, a collaboration between perennially out-there rapper MF Doom and Grey Album mastermind Danger Mouse, pays homage to the Cartoon Network's postmodern Adult Swim series. You don't need to know much about Space Ghost to revel in Dangerdoom's casual, pop-culture-giddy flow (references to Scooby-Doo and Lou Dobbs!) and his wily swipes at Snoop and too-predictable R&B samples in rap. Toss in Mouse's slinky, winking beats, and the result is a hip-hop tour de farce.
