'LITTLE' BIG MAN Disney's animated hero will take on 50 Cent -- and win
Chicken Little: Disney
A trio of newcomers will challenge Chicken Little at the box office this weekend, but the popular poultry will rule the roost for a second weekend.
A 35 percent slip from its $40 million opening weekend would result in another $26 million for the Disney animated feature. Meanwhile, the new 50 Cent drama Get Rich or Die Tryin' and the new family adventure Zathura will race for second place, with around $16 million each.
After its strong $27.7 million debut, the military drama Jarhead will see a 45 percent decline to $15 million, while the new Jennifer Aniston/Clive Owen thriller Derailed will round out the top five with about $10 million in its first three days. Or, in other words, 10 weeks' work for Aniston from her Friends days.
