Greatest Hits (2005)

Elvis sans pelvis, Ricky Nelson was rock & roll's good boy, and his cool, some might say stiff, demeanor is getting reevaluated in light of a recent shout-out in Dylan's Chronicles. Tied to a special on PBS, which is looking like VH1 these days (not a bad thing), Greatest Hits is a solid introduction, with spry oldies like ''Hello Mary Lou'' that you may have forgotten were his. And he milks those ballads good.
