Shrek 2's Mike Myers, 42, and his wife, Robin Ruzan, 41, announced on Dec. 23 that they are separating after 12 years of marriage.

Her love may not cost a thing, but a couple of thieves think Jennifer Lopez's wedding video is worth a cool million. Two New Jersey men were arrested after shopping around Lopez and Marc Anthony's stolen wedding video to media outlets and attempting to sell it back to the couple for $1 million.... Actor Brad Renfro (The Jacket), 23, was arrested on a heroin charge Dec. 22 in L.A. and will be arraigned on Jan. 18. Renfro's attorney could not be reached for comment.... Britney Spears, 24, filed a $20 million libel and misappropriation lawsuit on Dec. 19 in L.A. against Us Weekly. Spears claims the magazine's story about Spears and husband Kevin Federline viewing a personal sex tape with their estate lawyers is a ''despicable work of fiction.'' Us Weekly said in a statement, ''We stand by our story.''

Patrick Cranshaw, 86, who played fraternity pledge Blue (''You're my boy, Blue!'') in 2003's Old School, of natural causes, Dec. 28, at his home in Fort Worth.... Richard De Angelis, 73, who played Colonel Foerster on HBO's The Wire, of congestive heart failure, Dec. 28, in Silver Spring, Md.... Rona Jaffe, 74, author of the 1958 best-selling novel, The Best of Everything, of cancer, Dec. 30, in London.... Marjorie Kellogg, 83, who wrote Tell Me That You Love Me, Junie Moon, of complications from Alzheimer's, Dec. 19, in Santa Barbara.

LEGACY

Actor Vincent Schiavelli, 57, who died of lung cancer Dec. 26 in Sicily, was the anti-Lon Chaney. As the Man of One Face — a mug that popped up in scores of films, from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest to Fast Times at Ridgemont High to Ghost — Schiavelli's presence was as distinctive as his unforgettable eyes.
