In the trailer, Kirsten Dunst prances around...to a New Order song. Is this Sofia Coppola's hipster 1700s? ''Oh, my God, it's so not! She's just bringing youth to something that's been done so many times,'' defends Dunst (pictured), who plays Antoinette, married at 14 to the future King Louis XVI. Coppola (Lost in Translation) says she's capturing ''the idea that there were these teenagers partying and were supposed to be in charge of the country.'' So her $40 million drama, shot in and around Versailles, is less a period piece than ''this girl's experience growing up in this heightened environment.'' And the infamous ''let them eat cake'' remark? Coppola chuckles, ''It's in there.''
