Inspired by a 30-second clip a fan posted on their website, the Beastie Boys gave video cameras to 50 audience members and had them capture a 2004 concert at New York's Madison Square Garden. The clip ''just had this energy because of the low quality and the fact that it was handheld,'' says director Nathanial Hörnblowér (the nom du film of band member Adam Yauch, a.k.a. MCA). Using almost 7,000 edits, the film covers everything from fans' bathroom and beer breaks to the trio's Muzak-fueled sprint from elevator to elevator before the encore. (March 31)
