Rachel McAdams: Eric Ogden/Corbis Outline

WHERE THE HECK ARE RACHEL MCADAMS' NEW MOVIE ROLES?
After hitting the 2005 box office trifecta with Wedding Crashers, Red Eye, and The Family Stone — a trio that totaled more than $300 million domestically — Rachel McAdams emerged as Hollywood's Great Female Hope. So why does she have zero projects lined up?

''2005 was such a busy year.... We are looking to significantly curtail her press exposure,'' says her manager, confirming that she has booked no new roles — not even that oft-rumored turn as the next Bond girl. ''She's very picky,'' explains Red Eye executive producer JC Spink. ''But at the same time, she hasn't done anything wrong so far. The only thing [standing in the way of] her being the next Julia is that big romantic comedy.'' And what about Bond? Says Spink, ''That would be a mistake. She's well beyond it.'' We know one Oscar winner — Halle Berry, anyone? — who might disagree.
