FINISHING POSITION Sixth place (season 4)
GREATEST MISSTEP While Constantine was arguably one of the most polarizing contestants in Idol history, it would be hard even for his most rabid fans to make a case for the wretchedly off-key retread of Seal's ''Kiss From a Rose'' that he coughed up in week 1 of the season 4 semifinals.
WHY WE'RE BITTER Fair enough, Constantine served his purpose on the series, displaying a cheeky sense of humor and a dose of unlikely sex appeal on such numbers as ''I Think I Love You'' and ''Bohemian Rhapsody.'' But honestly, when a contestant's come-hither stares into the camera outnumber his in-tune notes, he probably shouldn't outlast a full 50 percent of the season's finalists.
