Having transformed himself from self-serious folkie into charming pop maestro, the Nebraska-born singer-songwriter, adds some new elements to his breezy brand of hipster soft rock in Subtitulo. Josh Rouse is now living in Spain, which explains his seventh album's Latin feel (''The Man Who...'' is a winsome bossa nova track). As for the lush disco of the Bee Gees-meets-James Taylor tune ''It Looks Like Love,'' well, there's just no explanation. But with a melody this effervescent, none's needed.
