Fishscale (2006)

Details Release Date: Mar 28, 2006; Lead Performance: Ghostface Killah; Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap

''You ain't been hungry since Supreme Clientele, '' growls the pretend boxing coach at the start of the Wu-Tang alum's fiery, Just Blaze-produced statement of purpose, ''The Champ.'' But it's misleading: 2004's entertaining The Pretty Toney Album was fueled by enormous hunger, and that's apparently led the Staten Islander to a fresh stock of hilarious creativity. He may not be reinventing himself with Fishscale, but as a must-hear street storyteller, Ghostface Killah's still at the top of his game.
