What do you do when someone answers a ringing cell phone during the main feature in a movie theater? Better yet, what would you like to do? —Andy Alisago

I bet you and I would like to do exactly the same thing, Andy, and I leave it to your imagination as to what that is. (Hint: The hurling of the offending object is involved.) What I actually do, though is 1) glare dramatically and 2) immediately request in a clear voice, ''please turn that OFF.'' The key is to pipe up immediately, rather than 30 seconds into a conversation that shouldn't be taking place during Ice Age: The Meltdown. On a related note, critics who attend many industry screenings a week tend to jockey for aisle seats for easy entry and exit, and so do I. But when I'm at the multiplex on my own time, I'm a big fan of sitting far to the right or left, against a wall, for further insulation from yakkers.
