Mobb Deep's first release for 50 Cent's G-Unit label is the duo's finest body of work since their 1995 masterpiece, The Infamous. This new alliance translates into radio-friendly tracks with street cred (''Put 'Em in Their Place,'' ''Outta Control'') and inspired collaborations with top-shelf guest stars and producers (50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, the Alchemist). But despite Blood Money's big-budget frills, group members Havoc and Prodigy remain true to their dark (''In Love With the Moula''), gritty (''The Infamous''), and often socially irresponsible (''Click Click'') roots.
