+ Busy man Chris Rock will write and direct his next big-screen project
(which he also stars in), I Think I Love My Wife. A remake of a French
film—but also based on Rock's stand-up Wife tells the story of a
married investment banker whose emotional affair with a woman from his
past (Kerry Washington) threatens to get physical. The twist: This is
actually a comedy.
+ The live-action Transformers movie, directed by Michael Bay, just got a little more human. Jon Voight will join Bernie Mac and Josh Duhamel as...a suit. ''I play the secretary of defense,'' says Voight. ''He's not a Transformer, but you can never tell.'' After all, they are robots in disguise.
+ Poseidon's Josh Lucas has been cast in a fictionalized adaptation of Bernard-Henri Lévy's book Who Killed Daniel Pearl?, about the real-life Wall Street Journal reporter murdered by terrorists in Pakistan. Details about Lucas' role are under wraps, but we know he won't play the slain journalist.
