The Deal Report

MOVIES
+ Jude Law, Rachel Weisz, and Natalie Portman have joined the cast of My Blueberry Nights, from 2046 director Wong Kar-Wai. Nights is about a young woman (Grammy winner Norah Jones) who travels across the U.S. to learn the meaning of love.

+ Plans for a 24 film — which would squash one of Jack Bauer's really bad days into two hours — are taking shape. ''Our goal is to shoot between seasons 6 and 7,'' Kiefer Sutherland recently told EW's Ken Tucker, who was subbing as cohost of The Charlie Rose Show.

+ Kirsten Dunst is in talks to star in Michel Gondry's Be Kind Rewind. Jack Black plays a man scrambling to reshoot films he accidentally erased in a video store where his friend works. Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) also wrote the script.

+ Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor have been cast as cash-strapped brothers who turn to crime in a still-untitled Woody Allen project set to start filming in June.
