In the compelling true story of Texas Western College's journey to the 1966 NCAA basketball championship, the team becomes the first-ever all-black starting lineup to play — and win. Sadly, underdog basketball movies will always be judged against the greatness of Hoosiers, and while Glory Road is better than you've heard, it comes nowhere close to beating the champ.

EXTRAS In two documentary featurettes, scenes from the movie accompany talking-head interviews with actual players and coaches. How about some more real-life footage in the inevitable special edition?
